King Jeshoshapat’s and his kingdom deliverance from enemies after they declared national fasting and prayer inspired us to pray and fast with humility, love, and submission to God’s will. Paul and Silas fervent prayers and praises that led them to a supernatural released from prison moved us to pray and praise more.
Let us thoughtfully and prayerfully meditate on these verses and claim nuggets of truth:
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls” (1 Peter 2:24-25 NIV).
We know that sickness and disease are not God’s will for His people because there was no illness in the Garden of Eden. Sickness was and is a result of the fall and resulted to curse.
Two camps exist among Christians about healing:
One is those who do not believe that provision for physical healing was made in the atoning work of Jesus. Not surprisingly, these Christians see few healing miracles, which in turn only seems to confirm their assumptions.
The other groups among believers who have understood that physical is an integral element of Jesus’ atoning work, miraculous restoration are not unusual. Countless sick and suffering children of God have walked boldly into the court of Heaven and received the provision Jesus purchased for them with His own body and blood.
Wherever camp you belong it’s time for us to love each other and humble ourselves before God in united faith in praying, praying and fasting for healing and deliverance of USA, Phils, Canada, Ghana, and other countries from COVID-19. This is the time that we need to rise up and display the glory of God working through us. ”..for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose” (Philippians 2:13 NIV) on us.
Some of our suffering is the direct result of our own sin; some happens because of our foolishness; and some are the result of living a fallen world like our COVID-19 crises.
Our goal should be to deal with this pandemic with patience, calmness, and confidence by faith in Jesus with the Holy Spirit’s empowerment that God is in control of our current situation and of our future. Our victory against corona virus is on the way in His own way and timing!
The more we understand and embrace that finished work of Christ on the cross for us, the more grace-empowered our lives and our prayers become.
April 8 Praise and Prayer Points:
Praises for God’s wisdom, guidance, good health, and courage to serve: President, Vice President, COVID-19 Task Force, all elected officials in the federal level and state level, military that maintains makeshift hospitals and assist infected patients, doctors, nurses, and maintenance and other hospital workers, food manufacturing and delivery services, and those laboratory and research companies it’s doctors and scientist and researchers who work day and night to finalize the vaccine and find treatment for COVID-19. We include the Philippines, Canada, Mexico, Ghana, India, Pakistan, UK, UAE, ASEAN countries, and the Middle East as we lift them to our God the powerful Healer and Provider! Israel scientists are getting close to finalize their COVID-19 vaccine.
Praises for the worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies being delivered to the people through Zoom and other available online resources that connect people of God and reaches out to those who needed the Lord Jesus.
Praises for the pastors, Church leaders and volunteers, evangelists, and other faithful followers of Christ who preach, share, and get out to the community and serve
Fervent prayer and prayer and fasting mobilized here and overseas that strengthened our faith in Jesus Christ through social media. Prayer in united faith that online hackers who messed the church meetings and school classes will be stopped in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Pray for those with ongoing health issues: suffering with COVID-19 here in New York, California and other States, and overseas (Annie, Nana, pastors, missionaries, govt. leaders)

Praying in united faith for wisdom, guidance for singles (Christian spouses, godly contentment, and provision) and marriages (faith issues, provision, and relational struggles) and declaring His assurance, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20 NIV) on us and them.

Remember that most of those infected without health issues recover from corona virus and our shield against it is our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ’s blood covers us.
